The candidates are selected through a rigorous and competitive community-based application process designed to uncover genuine potential rather than simply fill spaces. Candidates are assessed for their passion for agriculture, readiness for agribusiness, and specific agricultural interests. The selection further evaluated entrepreneurial mindset, including creative thinking, innovation potential, and the ability to generate viable agribusiness ideas. Problem-solving skills, resource management, leadership and team management capabilities were analysed alongside resilience, adaptability, and risk tolerance, ensuring that selected participants demonstrated both agricultural commitment and strong entrepreneurial promise.
